How do I book an appointment?
- Message us on WhatsApp. This is the most convenient way. When we can't answer a call, for example during surgery, your message is answered afterward.

You don't have to describe your symptoms in detail in the message. Writing “Hello, I'd like to book an appointment” is enough. We'll talk about everything else in person, at your visit.

What should I bring to my appointment?
- Earlier lab tests, ultrasound, colonoscopy or other examination results, and the discharge summary from any previous operations, if you have one.
- A list of the medications you take. Blood thinners (for example, aspirin and warfarin) are especially important.
- Information about any allergies you have.
- The questions you want to ask. Write them down on your phone beforehand so you don't forget them when you're nervous.

Does the doctor also see male patients?
Yes. Dr. Ellada Manafova sees both women and men. Having a female doctor is a comfort for women who feel shy, especially, but proctological problems can affect anyone, and every patient is treated with the same care.
Do I have to describe my complaint in the message when I book?
No. A short message is enough. You can describe your complaint only if you want to. The detailed conversation and the examination take place at your appointment, in private.
Do I need to prepare in advance for the examination?
For a routine proctological exam, special preparation is often not needed. Before some tests, such as a colonoscopy, the bowel must be cleared. In those cases, you are told in advance what to do.
